BELISLE HOCKEY LLC

Belisle Hockey LLC was founded by Coach Peter Belisle with a singular purpose: to pass down the game the right way.
Our mission is to connect the next generation of players directly to the time-tested teaching, discipline, and hockey IQ of Bill Belisle, legendary coach and inductee of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame.
Our camps are intentionally designed around age and skill level, ensuring every player receives focused instruction that meets them where they are — and pushes them to the next level. From foundational skills to advanced systems and compete habits, we teach the details that separate good players from great ones.
At Belisle Hockey, tradition meets development — and every session builds smarter, tougher, more complete hockey players.

OUR COACHES
PETER BELISLE

Peter Belisle is the Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he has established one of the premier programs in NCAA Division III hockey.
Since taking over the Beacons, Belisle has engineered a remarkable program turnaround, leading UMass Boston to multiple conference championships, NCAA Tournament appearances, and national rankings. His teams have consistently competed at the top of the highly competitive New England Hockey Conference (NEHC), capturing league titles and advancing deep into postseason play. Under his leadership, the Beacons reached the NCAA Division III National Championship game and have regularly been recognized among the top teams in the country.
Belisle has earned conference Coach of the Year honors and national recognition for his ability to build disciplined, defensively structured, and offensively dynamic teams. His programs are known for strong special teams play, relentless pace, and a culture of accountability that translates into consistent results on the ice.
Beyond team accomplishments, Belisle has developed numerous All-Conference and All-American players while maintaining a strong emphasis on academic excellence. His commitment to recruiting high-character student-athletes and fostering leadership within the locker room has positioned UMass Boston as a destination program for elite Division III talent.
A respected recruiter and mentor within the New England hockey community, Belisle combines tactical acumen with a deep commitment to player development. His leadership philosophy—centered on preparation, resilience, and collective responsibility—continues to drive sustained success for the Beacons both on the ice and in the classroom.

Normand “Bill” Belisle (Manville, R.I.) retired after his 44th season as head boys’ hockey coach at Mount Saint Charles Academy (Woonsocket, R.I.) in 2018-19, having spent the past five decades transforming the Mounties into a national power and one of the country’s most famous prep programs.
Head coach at Mount Saint Charles since 1975, Belisle’s remarkable run to date has included many significant milestones, among them: 26 consecutive state titles (1978-2003); 32 state championships in 43 years at the helm; over 1,000 wins; two first overall NHL draft picks, including Brian Lawton, the first-ever American to be selected first overall in 1983 and Bryan Berard in 1995; and more than 20 Mounties who have gone on to be drafted by NHL clubs, including 2015 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Mathieu Schneider.
A 2000 inductee into the National Federation of State High School Associations Hall of Fame, Belisle himself is an alumnus of Mount Saint Charles (1948), where he played hockey for its 1947 state championship team.
